My hubby called me tonight and told me that he has a parole hearing at 9 a.m. tomorrow. He said he has known since Monday, but he didn't want to get my hopes up. What's strange is that his schedule parole date is posted for May of this year. Should I get my hopes up? I was told that they probally won't get it the first time. Just wondering what to expect???????
With the recent financial issues coming up with the SCDC/state, he may have a chance. If he hasn't been in trouble and his business is straight at home, this could be a positive. Best wishes and prayers for you.

Sad to say my hubby's hearing wasn't what we thought it would be. He said they called him in and asked him about his living arrangements and if he had a job lined up upon his release. His actual parole hearing date is not until June. Hopefully he can come home then. So far he's not been in any trouble, has a job in the kitchen, and attends religious meetings weekly.
Sorry for the disappointment. I know it's a big let down, but at least he'll be home this spring! It might be wise to be sure he has a job lined up, and proof.... Good Luck!

The hearing that I thought was for parole turned out to be a screening for work release. He was approved for it. I'll take that. Anything positive
