Default Natives at chino need assistance

I recently paroled from chino minimum yard, there were approximately twenty natives in our circle. However, we did not have a native American spiritual advisor, and as of 09-27-2011 only enough medicine (sage, cedar, sweetgrass, and copal) for one sweat. If anyone can assist our brothers inside it would be greatly appreciated.

hey good evening, no one can send you anything, unless u get a form from the chaplain..stating what it is you specifically need and it has to be signed...and taken to a vendor that is approved thru Cali CDC...I know it sounds like a hassel but i've done it for my husband and his fellow natives in Calipatria State Prison. And yes it was a hassel but I did it because I love him and he's my whole world..next to my babygirl...

I participate in a circle at United American Indian Involvement on Thursdays and on many occasions we wrap sage for our Brothers/Sisters who are incarcerated. Our spritual advisor John Funmaker works with CDOCR. I will mention this to him tomorrow and see what our group can do
