It depends on which person answers. Some of them will tell you. They told me no visitation all weekend but they would not tell me anything else.

There's no way to predict how long they will be locked down, and once they are let out, everyone wants to make a phone call at the same time. I'm sure he will call as soon as he can.

I received the same call around 2:38pm. Even though it sucks I won't be able to visit him this weekend; hearing his voice really lifted my spirit to know he is A-OK!!
Hopefully others were able to hear from their loved ones...

Any information you could share would be much appreciated.

I got a call this morning. They had such a large fight that they turned the B2 unit into a shu because they didnt have room for all the ones going to the shu. So that explains why some of them said they were in a "different building". They moved them out to turn that one into a shu. Also was told that several guards were injured in the fight. So that is why they were locked down so long. They were sorting things out. And when guards are injured there they are usually guarenteed a week lockdown. Hope everyone hears from LO's and eveyone is ok. Was sure glad to get a call!

Wow, I didn't know all of that... now I see why they were locked down for a week. My man had an extra person added to his room b/c of that re-org. I also heard that inmates from Augusta and DC; who were involved in the fight are still in the shu and they will remain there until they are transferred to other facilities. I hope this info helps those who haven't heard from their LO's yet...
