When "approved package form enclosed" was written on the outside of the package and it was remailed, it was eventually delivered to me.
Another possibility in the bop system was a potential change in policy not allowing eyeglasses to be sent in from outside. I don't know if it was adopted, or not.
My man had to get special permission to get eye glasses made outside and he had only so many weeks to get the job done. The glasses had to be mailed back by the business, I could not do it.

CDCR no longer allows outside glasses to be sent in. If they need new glasses, they have to come from the optician inside. You'll need to ask your loved one if they're allowed and what the process is.
