Has anyone had a Video Visitation in Virginia yet?

Has anyone did a video visit yet? Or have your LO mentioned it? It was the talk of the visiting room today.

Middle River is starting there's this coming week. I dont like the fact that we will no longer be able to see them as in just actually right in front of us but now they will no longer leave their pods. They will use their kiosk while we are to sit and chat through a tablet in the waiting area ( or where ever they decide to put us ). Now if this was able to be done from the comfort of my own home and I didnt have to worry about the 5 hour drive just to talk to my husband on a tablet then id be ecstatic about it. So we are still in limbo over ours cause why drive 5 hours for him to not even be able to get out of his pod or even see me as in he did from the glass.. Yes some will say its still the same, no its not ...there is no nothing personal about it everyone in that pod will see your visit too

I will be using it as soon as they unlock his scheduling block.... I have to wait I guess for him to be in longer. I am 50/50 on feelings... It's only half the amount of time from the house to do it, and I have to pay for it, but I live 3 hours away so it saves money and I won't miss weeks because of work since we can do evenings.
I am bummed that not once will I be able to see him regardless other than a monitor, and his Birthday is a day they wont accept visitors ;(

I have a friend in Prince William County jail and they haven't started internet visits yet. I called, but nobody could give me a start date.
