Default How to get visit pictures

So M has been transferred to a place that offers visit pictures. I'm excited. This will be our first picture in 18 years (since the two I have here- my avatar and on my signature.) What I want to know is

a) How much do these cost and does the money come from their books or what
b) Do they let them hold you at all during pictures
c) When do you get the pictures? Next visit? Do they give them to the inmate to send to you? Do they collect your email address and send them that way?

He's in Bent County, which is technically owned by CoreCivic.

I'm only going to be there for three days, September 28-30. I'm very excited, I haven't seen him in over a year now due to the problems with community correction and his "therapist" while out banning communication between us. (Fortunately he won't be able to get the same one next time, and the only other group in town is much more lenient.)

I can only speak about Buena Vista. Other places may be different. They ask at visit if you want pictures and they take the money from the inmates books I cant remember how much they were. BV have particular weekends of the month for photos but I believe you can ask if you only visit occasionally on special visits.
We were only allowed to stand next to each other with our arms around each other but my loved one said other places are different and more lenient.
The photos went to my loved one and he sent them out to me.
I would ring visiting at his prison and ask.

Who cares what they say about us? Because when I am with you I am standing with an army

Where I work they charge the inmates $1 per picture and it is taken from their books. The inmate pics up the pictures at a later time and it is up to them to mail it to you through normal letters.

In my place inmates are allowed to hold the other person and to also kiss the other person in a respectful manner. (think wedding photo)

Photos can have multiple people in it etc.

It is a $1 something. They give a form to the offender to fill out to order the picture(s) and to authorize the money to come from their books. They should let him put his arm around you but they still want to be able to see his hands. Your loved one will mail the picture to you after they give it to him. Takes a week or so.
