It is a long time, even worse when they keep saying, "I have nothing to offer you, I can't give you anything, I can't do anything for you..." and then the best part, they push you away time and again. 9 years. What did yours do? Prayers.

Unfortunately, Murder. Not that it matters but it was not by his hands. He was there.....got convicted. 32 yrs no parole.

I used to live in Greensboro, NC!

Yea...2nd degree for mine. Long sentence - as stated, not getting out anytime soon, convicted since a juvenile. I used to live in NC also.

Salinas Valley in Soledad, CA....but they're shipping him to Folsom any day now....im up in northern Cali- Marysville. Originally, his sentence was 10 years- fast- forward 18 years and he's still there.... with hopes for an early release in 2021, due to a new bill that passed recently- but if that doesn't go through, then 2024 is the outdate, which will be a total of 25 years hes been down

My man has been in for 10 years with 17 to go possibly less as he has an appeal going on we’ve known each other for over 30 years but didn’t start a n actual relationship until March 2018

Pleasant valley state prison in California.
It's a long 3 and half -4 hr drive one way from me(I live 30miles north of Sacramento.
First possible out date is 2021 but realistically he has 6 more years at least.
I can't wait for my husband to come home.
