Sending Books

So I will be sending my guy some books soon so that he can start getting himself ready to be released as we are looking at a minimum of 13 months until he's out. I'm gonna send from Amazon, but do I just put the address in like I would for sending him regular mail?

Yep.

I haven't done it in years, so things may have changed but I recall that they didn't have enough lines to accommodate all of his address. So I just put things together like name and CDC#, Yard/Bld/Cell...they got there just fine.

I believe that is true. Address it the same as you would mail.

Okay yay. It just confused me because it asks about weekend delivery and stuff and I'm like I don't know!

If it goes thru USPS, and the prison gets saturday delivery it should be ok.
If not, the Post office just holds it til monday.

Oh good.

Cuz I'm sending like 5 books. One on Social Media as there's been a lot of that since he went in and I really don't want him to come out and be like what the eff.

Agree with comments. One thing to watch is when you order on Amazon pay attention to the fine print re "sold by" and "shipped by".

Best is sold by AND shipped by Amazon.

Might be OK if just shipped by Amazon. But if the book is "shipped by" some vendor and not Amazon the prison will likely reject it.

If it indicates "sold by' company xyz and "shipped by" Amazon I think it will be OK. But I'm not 100% sure.

All of them are shipped and sold by Amazon.
