Hi there.

Here is the "sticky" for Corcoran Carpool. It is under CORCORAN and at the top of the page.

Here's the link:

http://www.prisontalk.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=385955

Good Luck!

P.S. Is here in Corcoran 1 OR CSATF?

If CSATF then here is the link to that carpool sticky under CSATF: http://www.prisontalk.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=385954

Have you called the mail room? Was there anything in the pics that would be considered unacceptable by prison guidelines?

hi Jasmine

Well blue and blue denim is out and you cant wear speggetti straps and your bra cant have no under wire.
just stick to the girky colors like pink, purple, yello, grey, and black, and white,
dont wear green because the CO'S wear that color.
you can have one ring and one bracelet, one necklace, and a pair of earings,a watch.
if your visit is contact than you can only take 50 dollars in dollar coins to eat with him.
you can wear skirts and dresses butmake sure they are at your knees or below other wise they might not let you in
at any time your not sure if what your wearing just take alot of extra clothes to change if your asked and there is a trailer on the parking lot called "friends outside" that will gladly assist you.
PM me if you have any further questions or your more than welcome to continue to post
i hope this has helped and you have great visits

Chango'swife gave alot of great info.

I would like to add:

you can wear sandals & flip flops as well.

Try not to wear something that has too much metal stuff on it, either tops or pants.... You can wear capris & bermuda shorts. If you do wear something white, it should not be plain white shirt.

You can also wear a clip in your hair, and bring a small brush/comb in, along with a scrunchie for your hair.

If visiting on Level 3 yard (versus Level 1) no tongue rings or any other body piercings except for ears. At least this is the way it use to be.

My suggestion to you is to get your coins ahead of time, then you won't have to wait for the change machine if there is a line. BUT if you do bring dollar bills with you, the change machine changes up to a $20 bill.

On your first visit, dress a little bit more on the conservative side and then you can look around and see what you can get away with.

GOOD LUCK!!!! If you have any other questions, ask away!

OH YEAH, WELCOME TO THE CORCORAN FORUM!!

Question I'm confused and I need your help

Hello,
I have been doing internet searches, County and state searches and phoning, emailing and letter writing anyone I can to get help.
My problem is that I do not have the Date Of Birth or CDC# of an inmate I am trying desperately to reach.
I know his name, where he is housed and his cell number.
I have asked adovacates and the ombudsman for help...and the anxiety is driving me crazy.
My question is this:
If I write a letter to the inmate and put the correct PO Box, where he is housed and his cell # on the envelope will he get the letter?
How do you get the CDC# of someone without a birthdate?
Any help offered is greatly appreciated!!
Carmen
