Default When can a number be added to the phone list?

Does anyone know when a number can be added to the phone list. My man was recently transferred to a new facility and I wanted to know how long it takes. Can you only add a number at certain times

It really depends on the facility, sometimes they let them put a new list in. I have heard of the list following them though. The crazy part is that some of the lower security facilities are actually more restrictive with these things.

Depends on the facility. When my BF was first taken to the MRDCC, an initial phone list was done (required). He was transferred to the BCCC many weeks later and as far as I know, he's never had to fill another one out. He's made calls to numbers that are new to him, but I think the numbers have been verified by Correctional Billing Services. I believe that one of the reasons for the hold up is that the inmate's DOC number has to be transferred too to reflect the correct facility. I guess that can take a while (it took 2 months for my BF's cellie's number to work). The visitation list is the only thing that he ever has to change and that comes around once every 3 or 4 months.

As far as I am aware it could take anything up to 2 weeks and depends if it is a new number, thats how it is in the super max.

I know the visiting list was 2 days in Central laundry it took about a week for the phone list to go through. He was transferred there from Jessup boot camp but he had to fill out another list when he arrived there.

Where we are, you can only update the phone list every 3 months...
