Exclamation My brother is on death row HOLMAN

I never thought i would be 40 and my brother has been on death row for 12 long years now. We were close as kids, but we grew apart over resentment from childhood.. I finally realized that he had changed over those long years and I went to see him for the first time since he was sentenced to death.
I had panic and anxiety attacks all the way there (550) miles. I thought I was going insane. What do I say to a only brother who treated me so badly? I had to forgive him in my heart before I could actually make the drive and tell him I loved him and I forgave him for everything he had ever done to me.
It was harder than having a baby, and I think it hurt more too!
All the emotion came pouring out and I realized how screwed up our justice is for an innocent man to sit in a box when he is innocent and grieving, I don't know what else I can do for him, but I thank God every day and beg him to set him free. Now my biggest worry is if he is going to die an innocent man on Death Row? Sucks that it is a daily thought..every one pray that JOHN MICHAEL WARD is released!
The Federal Defenders just blow smoke up your rear for years..telling the family that he will be set free, while he rots in prison with the worst of mankind. What kind of world lets these things happen..so frustrating.

Sorry, your going through that but just as you feel your brother is innocent the worst of mankind has family as well. Many of these people are sitting there have issues that caused them to be there like mental health problems that may have caused them to do things that put them there. So stop and remmeber these pople have loved ones also that come on here.

That is horrible, my thoughts and prayers are with you too.
I am so glad to hear though that you have gotten to forgive him and rebuild love.
