Default family visiting

is there anyone out there that can give me family visiting info - especially anyone who had to "fight" for their visits . My guy has some issues that I think may interfere with the approval process so I am wondering if some folks can shed some light on their experiences .

My husband was just denied due to domestic violence charge from his sons mother. I just wrote the warden explaining the circumstances and he also put in a request to see his couselor. We have been together 13 years married 5 and this occurred while we were together and she was in a realtionship. She does this with everyone that she is in a relationship with whenthings don't go her way. Unfortunatley under the CA code when you have any sort of dipsute with the childs parent it is considered DV. I am trying to get the Warden to maybe pull her records so that they can see that she has a history of this. I just don't think that some else's stupidity should affect us being able to have family visits. So I will let you know what happens

I've known quite a few people who try to get family visits after being denied and I've never personally heard of anyone winning on appeal. It's theoretically possible, but in practice, it just doesn't happen. I would appeal though, I mean, what have you got to lose? I'd keep moving up the chain of command and appealing an appealing.

If you live to be a hundred,
I want to live to be a hundred minus one day,
so I never have to live without you.
