Welcome to Prison Talk and to the Parent's forum. Here's a link to the PTO sticky for that prison.
http://www.prisontalk.com/forums/for...lay.php?f=1299

To find the forums that interest you most, use the main forum index. You can either join an existing thread/message, or start your own new one by clicking the "new thread" box at the top of each menu page, give it a title, and then ask your question in the message box.

To check back for replies, click on your username at the top of each PTO page, then "show all statistics" and "show all posts by" you. It will give you a list of links to everything you have posted on PTO. Check one, and then your browser's "back" button will return you to the list to check the next one.

HI SWalker,
All NJ inmates go to CRAF for placement to a facility, he goes there to get classified. If he has a short sentence, he could serve the time there. Depending on your son's a, he may get sent to one of the Youth Facilities (these are for young adults) I believe they are Mountainview, Garden State, and ACWagner. NJ DOC updates the site pretty regularly so you can keep tabs on him lol

My son has been out a few years but they made a store list once a week and the order was delivered a certain day of every week. I understand there is a care pkg you can order and send now too. The aZ board used to be pretty dead but there may be someone you can ask there.

He may be able to get more information about the program from other inmates who receive packages, and/or the prison staff.

After you created your account, did you put your son on your list? You have to sign up for the AZ DOC program and then add him using his DOC NO. If they allowed you to add him, did it give you that message after you added him?

I don't know if you have to be approved for visitation and phone calls in order to be able to send him a securepak. If your application hasn't been approved then maybe that is the holdup on being able to order for him?

I signed up for everything as soon as I could but that was 3 plus years ago and with the stress I was under from all of it, my memory is just a haze of what i could do when.
