Default What are the better Minimum Security Prisons in New Jersey?

Husband is going to minimum security for a first offense. He asked to go to Jones Farm-what is a good second choice. He said something about "going behind the wall" which he would like to avoid. Any recommendations? What's a good second choice to Jones Farm? Thanks!

Did he mean "behind the fence"? As in prison? The only thing I'm aware of that isn't "behind the fence" would be a camp.

Jones Farm is a good choice. Most of the other minimum security facilities around the state are just fine. What part of NJ do you guys live in?

unless it is a non violent offense and he is older jones farm is out of the question. most minimum camps are alright. Bayside wasnt bad, you have a lot of freedom and proivelages but if your from north jersey its a long ride.

He's already qualified for Jones Farm. I heard Bayside has a lot of gang activity-is that right?

my man was in bayside. when your man first gets there he will be "behind the wall" for the first week or so. Sort of like how he was stuck at CRAF. Being behind the wall sucks because he is stuck in a room for all day. He will have to choose between phone call, rec, and shower each day. Once your man gets to the farm, it will be much better. My man didn't mention anything about gang activity. At the same time, he probably would keep that info away from me anyway lol.
