Cool Sent to Northern State for hearing, will he do his time there?

Hello all!! First thank you to anyone who can help. My boyfriend served 6 years in jail. He was released and then sent back for a dirty urine. He lives in north jersey but he requested to be down south jersey to be closer to me which was awesome. he had his hearing at craf .......14 months before he is eligible for parole again. Sucks....But they sent him to southern state. (Yay) Well we totally forgot about a municipal charged he encounters while out on probabtion so now they sent him to northern state for his hearing this week bc that's where the charge happened. People are telling him he's gna stay up north after. Is that true? Also will he now receive a longer sentence. I feel like he doesn't tell me everything bc he doesn't want me to worry.

Most likely yes, but don't worry he will have a chance. Also it might depend. What were all of his charges?

Also his current max release date is August 29, 2021 his parole eligibility date is August 20, 2018 but there is no mandatory minimum term why is that? I can see the 14 months reflected in the 2018 date but that doesn't mean that when he is eligible for parole the let him go? I'm very new to this...

Not all charges have a Mandatory Minimum to be served before a person can be eligible for parole.
