Question Most convenient and economical way to sell Inmate Artwork?

Does anyone know the most convenient and economical way to sell artwork created by inmates other than through eBay? Your feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Hi there, I once had a penpal who wanted me to sell his artwork on line. Its a very amusing thread, but then his artwork was very unconventional. He also had very unrealistic expectations.

I do have a penpal whose artwork has been featured on PBS TV channel and also exhibited in San Francisco. I know he had previously had his family try and sell artwork from him on Etsy , he had also had art posted on a facebook page. Also he tells me ink from the pen magazine feature inmate art in their magazine. https://inkfromthepen.com/

Selling inmate art isnt easy unless an inmate is very well know they are not going to command high prices. Also if you dont know this person well be aware that they may have unrealistic expectations and may blame you if those expectations arent met.

Maybe try etsy instead of ebay.

I ran across this site a while back when my fiancé wanted me to sell his artwork. Since he is in Texas and cannot do anything to earn money while he's there, we never did anything with it though. You may be able to contact them and see if they can help. The man that runs it is really nice and we corresponded quite a bit.

At our Funeral Home here in town, They have beautiful Urns handcrafted from different kinds of Wood, they are very popular, and made in Woodshop from a Prisoner in Boise.

Just make sure it’s legal within “Son of Sam” guidelines.

It’s not our meaning mine, I meant it’s the Funeral Home in our town, I have no idea which inmate makes them, or anything about the person, other than it was a place where they do sell inmate art.
