Does Japan have any kind of help for someone leaving prison??? I know here in the US you have to search thru tons of garbage and lies to get minute help. But I would think a progressive country like Japan would have some type of rehab for felons. Maybe some type of job training program.

So what anyone can go to school. Why can't you get a job??? I'm sure you could get a job any place in janitorial or fast food. You say you have a GED??? Well here in the US you can have 10 degree's and can't get a good job. And in all honesty your not a good canidate for a student loan to go to school most loan agencies want some track record and prison is not what they want.

Kyoto, have you tried applying to any junior colleges instead of full-blown universities?

If you could at least get your foot in the door to a lower-level college, get in there and graduate, then perhaps it would be easier for you to be approved to attend a full-fledged university to finish up your studies, once you have proved yourself?

Alright thank you. Yes my boyfriend recommended appling for izumi junior in college. So I did. I still don't know if I'm accepted or not but I really hope so. I'm scared that I won't get in.
