I heard from my boyfriend at 8:11am today and he was supposed to call me back in a couple hours and I haven't heard from him so I'm not sure.

It may depend on the inmate and the counselor who is approving though.

It's starting to seem like he is trying to provoke the inmates... I haven't seen anything in the paper about anything happening in the jail. So what the hell does he keep locking them down for?.. Some type of a control trip I'm assuming.. Smh

The money we taxpayers are paying is definitely not going to our loved ones....pennies are being spent on them!

Which is outrageous!. I'm willing to join the protest because this is ridiculous!.

Hi Caligirl,

I still haven't received a response to my Visiting form. And my boyfriend said he asked the Counsler if he had approved it a she claims he hasn't received... So I guess they hold there mail as well as the inmates.. BullSh**! 😡😤 Is there somebody to complain too?

Lucky you!. I was under the impression that it had something to do with the lock downs but the lady who answered said it has nothing at all to do with it...

Who else??? It is not going to change this is the new norm as long as he is the warden. One incident and the whole place is on lockdown....concerns about health issues, food issues, visiting issues not being addressed but being ignored. We have an army of seven so far...strength in numbers..private message me if interested. People are worried about retaliation...well how much worse can it get with our men locked in cells 23 hours a day and for something they did not do and for weeks on end. This is gonna go on and on it is not gonna get better unless we step up for our men because they cannot. We have some good ideas join us and we can do this!!

I had a call from my guy this morning. ..he said they'd been out for about 20 min. Then he said the guards are running.. so not 3 minutes later they called lock down again. It's nuts.

I'm ready for this! Been researching some things generally and in criminal law as well. I don't care what it takes, but I'm down all the way! I understand doing things for safety & concern of ALL, but not just because they have that authority to do so. In our cases, this abuse of authority has gone TOO far & at the cost of not only our LO's, but their families and friends...

There is an excellent article in New Yorker about the Abuse of the Mentally Ill in Prison. (while the article refers to incidents in a state facility, we all know that the abuse of all prisoners is not isolated to one or to state facilities.) It makes me wonder if contact to the media is the path to take.

Is that the same as Victorville prison? Because they are on lockdown but if it is the medium security prison I do not know.
