Early Parole Hearing because of Covid-19?

Because of the coronovirus has anyone love one been seen earlier or been told that day will be seeing the parole board earlier??

As far as parole interviews, my LO’s eligibility date was May 2020 & he just received his packet yesterday & also he talked to someone who’s date was set for August but they just made parole

There are efforts being made to expedite parole-eligible folks out of prisons. This includes asking prosecutors to waive the 28-day notice period when applicable so that those who can can be out as soon as possible. The catch is that Truth In Sentencing laws prohibit the state from releasing anyone before their ERD.
