Need Info on Mecklenburg County Jail - Central to Send Medical Records
I'm trying to find an email or fax number for Mecklenburg County Jail - Central to send the jail my brother's medical records who's an inmate there. He was sentenced to 2 years on July 8, 2020 but should only have to serve 13 months from what we were told.
I was trying to get his medical records to the jail so they could be aware of his medical conditions especially with the COVID-19 situation, I live in New Orleans, LA so unfortunately bringing his medical records in person to the jail is not an option for me. He was diagnosed with a Heart murmur, Stage 2 Hypertension, and Hepatitis C virus.
Have you tried calling the jail to ask them the email or fax number? Or try contacting his attorney to get them there? Or mail them to him?
Not totally sure if they would even accept them from a non-medical facility. He may have to fill out a request for his medical records and have his doctor send them in.
I called the jail a few times and didn't get an answer and I emailed his attorney about it but his attorney never responded back to me and that was over 12 days go now.
Edit: I also emailed the Public Information Manager for Mecklenburg Sheriff's Office as that was the only email I can find and didn't get a response from them either.

UPDATE: The jail now has my brother's medical records.
UPDATE: I managed to get in contact with the Facility Commander for Mecklenburg County Jail - Central and was able to give him my brother's medical records and he then gave them to the Health Services Administrator.
