Default Anyone Know anything about Arkansas Valley Correctional Facility?

My best friend and love of my life just went into Arkansas Valley Correctional Facility! I just would like to know is it a pretty safe place. are there a lot of fights there. I just want to know anything! If you have someone there could you tell me what they have said its like. If they have told you anything that is. Im just scared for him! Please help me! Thanks

No worries...unless anything has changed there recently, AVCF is a pretty nice place as far as prisons go. The visiting staff is professional and they don't hassle you as long as you go by the rules. Your hubby should be safe as long as he follows the rules and the code...which is don't ask any questions of other offenders regarding their offense, don't borrow anything and don't clique up. Also stay away from any and all kinds of gang activity, regardless of what it is, otherwise he'll end up classified as STG (security threat group), and end up in a maximum facility locked down 23 hours a day. It's not worth it. Every prison has fights, he just needs to make sure he's not putting himself in that position. There's no reason why he can't do his time without problems, I guarantee it.

My husband did most of his time there and as long as you show respect to people, they will respect you back.
