Texas Prison and Jail Visitation, Phones, Packages & MailTopics / Information relating to the Texas Department of Corrections and local / county Jail visitation, phone calls, mail, inmate care packages, etc.
He has been picked up from the county....how do I find where they have taken him? He will be in ag seg where ever he goes because of gang affiliation from years ago. Please help me.
You can look on the CDCR website for California inmate locator. You just agree to the terms and then put his name or CDC number in. It takes about a week for that thing to be updated online. Sometimes, you can call them, give them the same information and they can tell you a little quicker.
Also, you can call the jail or prison he was at and ask or get connectd to records. They won't give any information on the phone except where they took him. That's actually the quickest way. Good luck.

Tdcj has a website. I always google it rather than trying to remember it. Just put in tdcj. It'll give you a link to the online offender search in the search results. I'm hearing there have been problems with it this week though. Good luck!!

The link for Texas is TDCJ Online Offender Search. It may take a little while for him to show up. It really only needs his TDCJ# in the appropriate field to find him. It will tell you his Parole Eligibility Date (PED) and his Projected Release Date (PRD) – if he’s eligible for Release to Mandatory Supervision (RMS). The PED is the date he’s eligible for parole, but TDCJ is not obligated to do anything by or for that date. I have found the PRD date to be a great target date to hope for! Good luck!
