hmmm... good question. ive gotten a few letters from my husband that had what looked like dirt n nastyness on them- i know this most likely didnt come from my lover because hes pretty darn clean. this is a good question, prolly best answered though if you call the prison. but even doing that youre taking your chances with getting the truth.

There as mud on the outside of one of his envelopes once but hopefully not from their mail men/women. Thanks I think i'll try that.

It probably came from being handled by the Post Office. I've rec'd mail that was damage and in the little plastic bag from the Post Office w/ the generic apology "sorry we destroyed your mail".

Yeah thats what I figured.Wow I hope some mail men start being more careful but I guess it was good we still got the mail.
