Lots of long sentences on here. My guy had his parole hearing in November and was turned down. He had been in two years and four months. Now, he's up for a half way house the end of April and parole again in November. He got into trouble and so no visits at all until the end of April and then "no contact" visits until November. I live six hours away so probably wouldn't go visit until the contact visits are allowed again in November if he doesn't get the HWH or parole..

He was given 30 years but his case is on appeal, so who knows how long he will do. I just want him back home already.

Mine's has a sentence of between 4-10 for his orginal sentence but because it was with a firearm there was another 2 yrs added at the beginning. Therefore he's been in since 9/8/10 and is eligible for parole 9/8/16 with the latest being 9/22

Just got sentenced to 50 years to life after spending four years in County. Praying he wins his appeal I can't bare the thought of him spending the rest of his life in prison

He got 26 to life. He has done 18 years. His potential release date is 11/6/22. I hope that is the worst case scenario. His was considered a non-violent, non-serious felony, so I hope the parole board will release him. Since he did not kill anyone, my understanding is that the governor cannot block his release.

We did 2 1/2 years on a 36 month sentence. Came home July 2014. Went back in on a supervised release/parole violation January 2015. Had revocation hearing and the hearing examiner recommended 36 month sentence...final notice of action hasn't came back yet. We praying for an immediate release but worst case, were looking at 36 months i which he probably will do 2 years with 6 months half way house.....But, Lord hear my cry. I pray for an immediate release for us!

I hate it him being on the row but if I never had met him that would have been even worse. We will make the most of it.

My fiancé got sentence to 18-36 months. He's been in 14 months now. We were told by his lying lawyer before we took the plea that in July he will be released at his MIN date for sureeee. My fiancé kept telling me not to get my hopes up to that because lawyers will tell you anything to get rid of you! My guy kept saying the parole board is the one who decides if your getting released on that date NOT your LAWYER, but crazy me kept believing the lawyer because imagine he's a lawyer and I figured he knew what he was talking about. And where he's at "PA" is super slow with everything. He sat in county after being sentence to state for over two month waiting to be picked up & now he's at Camp Hill waiting to be classified and its been over 2 months he's been there waiting. Then once he get classified then he will be sent to his permanent "home camp" which he will have to take mandatory courses that's required before he could even see the parole board. He was told the courses run on average three months so that's clearly going to be past JULY. Also we have to do that whole interstate compact agreement thing because We stay in Miami but he's locked up in PA, so I'm sure that we got our work cut out for us. I just want this to be over already
