In the state of VA. can a convicted felon have a bb gun in the house or use it?

No a convicted felon cannot have a any type of gun in Virginia. If a gun is in the house where the convicted felon lives, it must be under lock and key or the owners must remove it from the premises. The convicted felon must have permission to be in the house with a gun from his/her probation officer. Please do not even handle the weapon, at anytime that your finger print is found on the weapon, you will be arrested. Sometimes they are just looking for a reason to revoke probation/parole. *former probation officer*
