My name is Tim Mellen and I have been a prisoner advocate for 24 years for prisoners and their families. Since the injustice system can be a complicated and scary place at times, its important to build a relationship with the prisoners and especially their families.
My majority of my work has taken place in Georgia and most recently in Chicago, I was instrumental in being part of a group in Marietta GA in opening a half way house for men coming out of prison and also spent time monitoring court rooms, trying to improve jail conditions and advocating for prisoners rights
