Default Arkansas Equal Justice Petition

"The evidence, independent of Gaddy's testimony, would not be
sufficient to convict Thrash of Capital felony murder." -- Arkansas Supreme
Court, in response to a direct appeal submitted by Anthony in 1987.
Thrash v. State, 291 Ark. 575, 726 S.W.2d 283 (1987).
Arkansas Equal Justice

This is my husband's petition for clemency. Will you sign it?

We will file our clemency request at the end of this year. So now, we are trying to gain support for the Board and Governor to grant that

We are seeking a commutation of Tony’s sentence to a term of years; he has served over 20+yrs., we have been to the Arkansas Supreme Court, the Federal Courts and the United States Supreme Court.

As the Petition outlines, the Courts have not ruled on the merits of our case, because of court procedure rather than the value of our documented claims. This request for clemency/sentence commutation is our
last option.

Feel Free to pass along, ANY and ALL information we have we will gladly share, if any questions arise.

As the banner on this letter says, “the evidence independent of Gaddy’s testimony would not be sufficient to convict Thrash of Capital felony murder.” This statement was made in 1987, by the Arkansas Supreme Court. Yet, this testimony which Gaddy herself says was not true, has yet to be evaluated by the courts.

By the Will and Grace of God, the Board and Governor will evaluate our plea with your help.

With Deepest Love and Appreciation,
Jean and Anthony

Never give up Hope, there is always Hope. I wish you alot of luck with your petition.
Our dear friend Rosa passed away on 7 November 2014.
She was a kind, gentle soul who always took the time to welcome newcomers with an encouraging post and helping hand.
She made our forum a better place.
May she rest in peace.

Signed (again) - just realized I had already signed this so now my signature is on there twice. I had thought it was a new one, but I guess not. Best of luck!
