Default Release date Sept. 15, 2018 but received letter & has open case.

My brother was supposed to be released on 3-15-2018 from sussanville prison he knew he had a probation violation and he was was expecting to go back to la county to take care of it but he was never picked up and before his release he received a letter from probation saying they were going to just ad 6 months to his time. So his new release date is 9-15-18. Now he received a letter saying he has a case in san bernardino county and they will pick him up after he finishes his time. Is this right?

Yes, if he has an open case in San Bernardino County and they've placed a detainer on him, they will pick him at release and transport him to San Bernardino County.

If you can find out what the court case is for, perhaps it can be taken care of before your brother is released. Good Luck!!

Also majority of the times the other county that has the hold on him usually comes pretty quick and don't drag their feet because they are responsible for paying another facility to hold.
❤You aren't just my GREAT LOVE story, you were my BIG BREAK. And Our love story, I know it might not feel like it right now, but I promise its just getting started❤
