Default Prison Transportation soon to be available

Today my mother told me about a transportation service that will take you from your house to the prison and back. She says you have to schedule an appointment and I don't think it is every day. I asked her where she found the info at and she said it's in a topix or something. I am going to get it from her and post more info.

I'm not sure if it is the same one. There has been some information for a service called Patton's Transportation. I believe they are out of Muncie. Don't have the exact thread ready to post but info on this was posted about a year or so ago.

Exclamation Sunday visits - New Castle, Indiana - carpool anyone?

I don't drive, but would love to find someone (who visits on the same Sundays that I do!) to ride with. I live in Muncie, near 3 if that helps! I'm trying to find a ride because my roommate can no longer take me. Her car's front tire is messed up - the ball joint popped off, causing the axel to pop out of place. (The joys of dating a machanic for almost 7 years, it rubs off and soon you find yourself helping your roommate assess the damage. lol) Anyway, of course I am more than wiilling to help with gas costs and the like. Please let me know. My man has visits the 5th & 19th this month, so you can gauge if we visit on the same days. I wish they still offered evening visits. **sigh** I hope to find someone before next visit!

Default 6-8

they stopped the evenings starting THIS month. yeah, it sucks. those hours were sooo much easier for me. Atleast then I could have a ride that I would be able to depend on.

So i just got approved for visitation and my fiance wants me to come ASAP!!!! He said he has a # to a shuttle company that will take me up there for free! He wrote me yesterday and he gave me the wrong number! he put the area code and the last 4 numbers and forgot the first 3 numbers! Does anyone know what the number is? If you are referring to Patton's Transportation based out of Muncie the number is"

765-286-8580. You need to call between 8:30 & 11:30 to schedule.

This is true about Patton's service, however it's not free but reasonable.

Not a bad idea considering the cost of gas and all that to get down there... but you would have to make it fairly reasonable. Most of the wives/girlfriends etc, don't have the money to get down there on their own because of limited finances, children, and unreliable transportation. But with that said if you get enough people interested, make the rates for the trip reasonable, I don't see why it wouldn't be a wonderful idea.

Default share ride to Wabash

My daughter lives in Elkhart and her son is in Wabash. She is looking for someone she can ride with and share the cost of gas. She hasn't seen him in over a yr and since no one in the family has a car that will make it. I told her I would get on prison talk and see if I could find someone. Please if anyone can help please email me privately so I can let her know.
Thank you all and have a blessed day.

Brandy, I'm sorry to hear that . I know it definately has to be difficult. I used to live in Wells County, would have taken you, but now i'm in missouri. My husband is still in DOC holding. Good luck with your search! Hope things get better for you.
