I use it - not the APP but online. I only use the writing function and not the receiving function and I love it. Have been using it for 3 years already.

I used to have problems with the APP because they took my money but didn't deliver... so I contacted JMail online and they've told me it's not the same company, the APP was a "rip-off"... but that was about one year ago. Only use the online service from then on. I just know that my mail wasn't delivered through the APP.

Sure, all the time. Even other documents like PDFs, etc.

Jmail isnt email, they print off your letters and send them in the regular USPS mail. You can also purchase a virtual mail box with them. Your penpals then send their letters to Jmails los angeles address and Jmail scan them for you and you can read the letter on their site or download them to your computer. Its a very quick reliable service I have used it a lot.

I use it a lot. I used to prefer to write handwritten letters to my lo so I’d only use jmail if I needed to get a message to him asap. Nowadays I use it all of the time. It’s far cheaper than regular post and it’s printed out in the U.S and then mailed to the inmate.

I also have to say that they are very helpful so if you need any information just ask them.

Have been using Jmail for over two years and love it (I'm in Europe, he's in Cali). And, as Maytayah said, the staff at Jmail is super helpful and show initiative where it wouldn't even be required. I send pictures and also PDF documents all the time

I use JPay to send my letters, i also downlad pictures to send.. He gets my letters the next day. Cost is the same as a posted letter. I also use Jmail to receive letters. It uses an address in California. It's safe, that way no one has my home address. It costs $1 to receive up to 6 pages or mail 6 pages, which is why I send letters thru JPay, just cheaper.. It's pricey, but worth it. The staff there are great to work with. Response to any questions are within hours. Both services are worth it.

Hi LeaLea, we saw you said you used to like to write handwritten letters. You can do this on Jmail as well. Just hand write your letter on white printer paper and save it as a PDF. Upload it just like a picture by dragging it into the attachments box and skip typing in the text box. Your letter will be printed and sent with your handwritten letter rather than a typed letter. Hope that helps if you were interested in still sending handwritten letters.

Cheers!
Jmail Team
