IMU Questions

Does anyone know how often people in IMU (level 4 or 5) are able to make phone calls? Also, is it true that you have to be immediate family to visit someone in IMU? Is there any way around this? I know there are no visits due to Covid right now, but I'm wondering about future visits. Thanks in advance!
