Cool First meal on the outside? What......

I asked Jason what he wanted when he gets out but he hasn't made up his mind yet. He has 11 months.

We joke about his "last meal". I fixed him breakfast and it was steak and eggs and toast and homefries, coffee, o.j. and Sprite. He got busted that afternoon.

I asked my husband the same thing. He will be home next tuesday. I think we will go to the buffet. That way, he will have lots of choices and can eat as much as he want.

you know this is funny! Because my husband still might have a long time he is not sopose to be releassed until jan. of 2006 but he might be home sooner if we get his early release. But we have been talking about that every since he has been in i think that he has decided he wants the italian sausage (the ones like you get the fair.) with lots of pepers and onion. That was the last meal that i made him. the night before he went in.

We stopped at McDonald's for lunch on the way home, and he had a double quarter pounder. That night, we went to Applebee's with his parents, and he had steak (and me later on!! )

I havent really talked to Louie about it. But that would make a very good conversation topic in a letter. Maybe I will make him up a whole little menu that he can choose from. I want him coming home to be special. And I am going to cook him dinner. But then HE is doing the dishes and taking care of the baby. Even though I'm sure he'll be paying more attention to Hunter than me.....

Anything but chicken or hot dogs. I actually dream of a big, fat outside grill fest when he comes home with steak and sausage and shrimp kabobs and lobster and grilled pineapples...good lord, I'm hungry. LOL

We are puerto rican so i am going to make him yellow rice with beans (arroz con gandules) a pig roast in the oven (pernil), potatoe salad, bread rolls, he loves corn and veggies so there will be plenty of that and lots and lots of pepsi!! for dessert he can me with whip cream all over!! Well, since my boyfriend is the chef in this house, I decided I would cook him his first dinner back at home. This compelled him to pose the question, "Jess, have you ever actually turned the stove ON?" So, now he doesn't want me to cook, but instead is having major sushi cravings - I know, some of you are like - and also wants ice cream in the worst way. Apparently we can never, ever, EVER have chicken in the house again. Actually the only thing he wants to have immediately after getting out is a Dunkin' Donuts coffee and a Marlboro Light.

My husband wants.....a cold cold Budwiser and a Black n Mild cigar. I have asked him 82 times what he wants to eat/do when he comes home. He says he wants whatever I cook as long as it is cooked in OUR kitchen. I finally got him to say he likes the idea of going to Vegas for a few days.
Then.......he starts on his "honey do" list!!

LOL Darlene! Charlie said the same thing - "Baby I don't care what it is but PLEASE NO SOUP! and don't EVER buy ramen noodles!"

We're stopping at his grandparents house on the way home - about 4 hours South of where he is and about 4 hours north of where I am - so, he'll have some "Grandma cookin' first thing! (Though he did ask me to bring him a Corona and a lime! - LOL)

Laughing at the In-n-Out burgers! I love those things. Whenever I am in California, I make it a point to hit the In-n-Out place! My sweetie swears he will never eat chicken again in his life. Knowing him, I'd guess he'd want a rare steak and a potato with lots of butter and sour cream, I'm thinking Outback or Ruth's Chris steakhouse. He's also mentioned McDonald's [ugh].

Even though jeff and i have a LONG time to go, I have asked him that, and he says he wants me to make him a yummy italian dinner. My best dish is lasagna and garlic bread and salad and wine. HOmemade lasagna might i add So im thinking i could turn that into romantic/seductive.

The last two times my man came home, he was so used to eating prison crap, his stomache wasn't ready for real food for a few days! So we never have a conversation about what he wants. I'm gonna see him tomorrow though, so I'll ask him!

He won't care, as long as it's not processed food! And the big must is Tiramisu for dessert... it's *our* dessert

Yeah! I'm definitley no competition for Emerril in the kitchen!!! I think we have been talking about the day he comes home since the day he left home!!! I was thinking Red Lobster because he loves Crab Legs, but quite a few times we have made those at home and he says they were good (I wont eat them. YUK!). So that may be the plan because I am not sure I want to share him with anyone else on his first day back!! We can always go to Red Lobster on Staurday because he gets out on a Friday!
