Default New but not new

I originally joined Prison Talk in 2006, I believe. I had a high school friend that I found while looking through Otis. I wrote to him during the last year or so of his incarceration. He got out in September 2007. (?) He passed away of liver disease 13 days later.

I was recently divorced and my ex-husband was sentenced just 4 days before the divorce was final. We did not split up because of his crime. I have promised him that I will be here for him as long as I am not just used.
He is currently at Charles Egeler and was classified as a level 2 today.

Good to see you back. I am still here too. Life has gone forward hasn't it yet we are still here focused on our loved ones.
"One of the casualties of [prison life] is the numbness of the heart"- Man on Fire

There is no question that in virtually all circumstances in which people are doing things in order to get rewards, extrinsic tangible rewards undermine intrinsic motivation." the New Scientist (12th April 2011, pp 40-43)

" Every life you touch, every fear or pain you ease, every loved ones' heart that you ease the burden from is the reason you are here."
