My daughter is federal but oused in a state facility, only 109 miles from home.

My son is in the new USP in Vicorville. He has only been there about 2 weeks. This is all new to me.

Me too. My brother self surrendered to Butner this week. I'm not sure which one he's going to be in, and I've not yet heard from him. He was admitted to the medical part...FMC?

How long does it take for them to be allowed to make phone calls?

How does all this work? I feel so helpless and lost.

Mine was in fpc Nellis (Club Fed), and is now in the Halfway House here in Las Vegas.
