Anyone have info. on Sheridan?

My husband is currently in Dixon. Visiting is easy and the vending is decent at Dixon, but it is getting tighter on the inside ... inmates are losing yard time and they are getting stiffer on movement. We want to look into transferring to Sheridan. ... We have two boys- one is 10 and the other is 5. Any info. would be great...thanks so much!

My fiance' is currectly in Sheridan, they are rarely on lockdown. You don't hear or read bad forum about sheridan. I think it would be a wonderful place for your husband to finish his time (sad to say). The only problem about sheridan is weekend visits only (Sat or Sun) and holidays, and rules are about the same as any other facility. They will consider your 5 and 10 yrs. old as adult visitors, meaning there only 3 visitors per visit. If you need information about rules when transferring, call the facility @ 815-496-2181.

Sheridan is a nice prison for the most part.My boyfriend like it there.
