View Poll Results: FCI Low/Minimum~Which one do you have ties to?
I guess that privately run prisons that FBOP contracts to warehouse some 28,000+ inmates don't count in this survey?
My son is in Adams County CI - low security.
We wish he were back in the caring arms of FBOP proper.
Let's see:
My husband did time in FCI Seagoville & was released. He's headed back now & because we've moved to a different part of the state, he has requested Beaumont low so we can visit.
One of our dear friends is at FCI Big Spring.
I have a penpal at FCI Terminal Island.
My dear friend is headed to Big Spring FCI. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Is visiting still very hard? He hasn't had a visit in about 2 years because of being designated too far from home. Most family is still 1000+ miles away, want to make sure it's worth the trip.
Email? Dorms? medical?? anything would be helpful... Many thanks!
I'm new to the site so I'm not sure where to post etc. I have a question about Forrest City low. My boyfriend just got approved to move across the street to the low security and I was wondering what the visiting room was like. Do they assign seats? Can you sit by your loved one or do you have to sit across from them? Is there real food in the vending machines or just snacks and candy? Can you play cards or games while visiting? Thank you in advance for your replies. Ali

U have to sit across from the inmate unless it's a child then they can sit next to him. They tell u where to sit. And they will get on u if u touch the inmate ... The handbook says u can hold hands but they don't let you. They have sandwiches, burgers, hot wings and stuff like that in the vending machines. No cards, games at all...
