I stayed at the Super 8 in Terre Haute many times while my boyfriend was a "guest" at the FPC. The cheapest I ever got was around $49, the highest was over $90...just depends upon the weekend. The cheapest weekend I got was actually being there over christmas. Lodging is fine and everyone was very pleasant.

Hi everyone! I live 1 hour East of Terre Haute. It takes 1 hr. to drive I-70 or U.S. 40 to Terre Haute. I'll pay forward my house for your families. Pm me and we'll talk about dates. Simple house but it's home! I'll share my space with you. I am 15 min. from the Indianapolis International Airport.

Ok my baby is in USP Terre Haute and we stayed the weekend there what ever you do do not stay at Mid Town Motels on highway 41 that is one nasty place. Honestly there were bugs everywhere. So I got my money back and I do mean all my money back and then we stayed at the Econo Lodge and it was so nice it cost $54.

i usually stay at pear tree inn, econolodge, and sometimes the econolodge in cloverdale (which is a 30 minute drive but cheaper than the ones in TH, just depends on if i want convenience or not). comfort suites is nice too, but more expensive.

i do say NEVER stay at knights inn in TH, it's gross and i got a false positive on the ion machine when i stayed there. luckily i got a negative the second time and got in.

Default Hampton Inn

I just stayed at Hampton Inn this past weekend and it was great. The rate was $80 for Friday night. The room was clean, the bed was super comfy, and there is a free, hot breakfast in the morning. Overall a wonderful hotel and very reasonable rate.

I stayed at the Fairfield Inn on s margaret ave (which is like 3 mins down the road from USP Terre Haute) in May for 110 a night. I'm visiting again Dec 5-7 and am contemplating Comfort Suites which is right next to the Fairfield Inn for 90 a night.

you might want to tell then that it's through priceline, cause the actual room is $115. But priceline lets you get that room roughly 50

Hey there, My boyfriend is in Terre Haute FPC until March- This nightmare is almost over.
I have to stay in the city one more time for the month of February. The last time I logged in was when I didn't know what to expect from his transfer and I was very worried. The drive from my location to Terre Haute is 250 miles one way. I was just relieved to find that Terre Haute camp isn't that bad and he was able to get involved in a few classes and meet some really nice guys.

If you want to do some exploring in Terre Haute check out Nancy's Antique Mall and Don't stay at the Day's Inn. I paid around $50- and it was just gross. Greasy rugs, uncomfortable beds. I'm not going to stay there again, where should I stay next?

I stayed at the Drury Hotel. Pd $114 for a Saturday night. The hotel has a fitness room, indoor pool and jacuzzi. Super clean and very comfy beds. Free soda and popcorn in the lobby as well as free kickback (chill out and socialize) with 3 FREE alcoholic beverages of ur choice and FREE food. For me it was worth it because I didn't have to spend money on dinner. I awoke at 6am and headed down for FREE breakfast the following morning. All for $114! Was a good deal too me.

If you read the visitation rules and adhere to them you will be fine. One thing I didn't know is it gets chilly in there but you cannot wear any type of garment over your shirt, no sweater nothing at all, if you do they will ask you to remove and hang in the visit room. Eat before you go If visiting the whole day as it does get expensive out of the vending machines and the food is not good, plus they run out quickly. Watch what you wear especially on Mondays. Just relax and enjoy your visit! The seasoned visitors will be nice to offer their advice as well.
