Signing a petition

So found a website that says Missouri is collecting signatures to change the 85% law for the ballots in 2020. How do I go about signing? I read that it has to be a registered voter and I just went and registered but cant figure out how to sign for it to be on the ballot. Tia

Look down the list, each line is a link. You're looking for titles that relate to parole in some way. When you click a link, it takes you to the location of info on that page. From there is a link for full text. In Full Text is a petition page for you to print out and gather signatures to turn in, and the text of the proposed measure.....it is not an online petition.


The attchment is what you see when you click a title in list. It may or may not be what you're looking for, I did not look through the entire list. The link below is what you get when you click on Full Text:

Also do I send this to the courts or where do I send them after I get signatures.

No, I think you send the signed & notarized petition pages to the Missouri Secretary of State:

I don't know if you have to put anything special like a Department or maybe "Ballot Initiative Petition," you may want to call and check...just to be sure
