Talking Question For Federal Prison Wives

So After 15 yrs my husband is coming home in 60 days! ....
PO already came and our home was approved, the 1/2 house has notified of his arrival. I have bought him some clothes just waiting for him to send me his "dress out" request.....

My question is is there anything i need to be doing to be more pro-active? Anything that I should know that no one tell us???
What should I expect when he comes home????

I'm excited but I overthink everything so I get very nervous!
If you have any advice or anything I need to be doing now for his arrival.
Maybe theres a book I can ready about what to expect? a
Anything will help ....
Im sooo happy

I have no idea what you can do to prepare yourself to get ready, but I would think there will be some sort of learning curve for him as far as technology goes, so maybe there are some books he can read, or free classes through a library that he can take. Imagine how much cell phone technology has changed even in the last 5 years.

Read through the stickies (at the beginning of the page) in the Coming Home forum. It should answer a lot of your questions!
You'll know you've created God in your own image when He hates all the people you do.

Just be aware that his release from prison to live in your home will probably require some adjustments from both of you. If you cooperate and work together through any issues that arise, it will reduce/resolve any conflicts that come up. It will be a big change for both of you, so try to be patient when problems do happen.

It probably won't he the same as it was before he was locked up. He also has a responsibility to be considerate of you and your opinions since you have had to carry the entire load of running your household while he was locked up.

I'm happy for you both. Praying all goes well, it may take some time for you both to adjust to his arrival back into the home. Be patient with each other.
