Sorry its goimg so slow for you. Try to keep yourself as busy as possible. It will help the time go fast. But hey it's five month away. It will be here before you know it.

I know! I have lots to do before he comes home, but they all are constant reminders of how much I miss him and want him home NOW! Lol! 5 months and 10 days is nothing compared to the 5 years we've been apart.

Your right 5 months is nothing. And honestly I do believe it gets harder the closer you get because you know it's the end and he will be home soon. When I look back and the past 26 months my husband has been gone I'm shocked at how fast it went so I know the next year will fly by. It will be here before you know it.

Found out my fiance could be in a halfway house as early as 9 months from now! Won't get too excited until we have an official date, but they started the paperwork a couple weeks ago so we should have a date before the end of the year!

Wow that's so awesome. It's hard not to get your hope up though. I know that feeling all to well. I'm sure everything will work out just the way it's supposed to

Yes definitely hard to hold back my excitement! But sooner or later he will eventually be home I just have my fingers crossed he gets the max amount of halfway house time, his case manager put in for at least 6 months. We also got it approved for him to go to a halfway house in my home state (new jersey), I can't wait for him to be closer, right now I'm in jersey and he is in Florida and I'm unable to visit.

Oh that would be horrible. I wouldn't know what to do if I couldn't see my husband. He's from New York but grew up in New Jersey. I like it there. We visit twice a year normally and will as soon as he gets home. He needs to see his mom before she passed away. She's older and sick. I hope she holds on until he's gets home.

It's been so hard not being able to visit him, I haven't seen him since February when he was in a different prison in Pennsylvania, and that was a non-contact visit, it's been well over a year since we had a contact visit, haven't had one since April 2016

I'll be hoping you and your husband are able to see his mom, sending lots of good thoughts your way!

Hey ladies how has everyone been. Is this month flying by or what. I can't believe it's the 21st already. 10 more days and its over and then on to the next. I haven't spoken to my husband except for three short minutes in two weeks. It's been pretty awful but the days flew by. Did it go fast for you???

I wish it would go by faster lol! They aren't going by fast enough, but this year is coming to an end pretty quickly.

Well to be honest my husband. He's such an amazing man. He's kind caring gental and always puts a smile on my face. We've been together almost 8 years and I have never doubted his love and loyaly to me. That's what keeps me going. Knowing that hes all mine and that as soon as he comes home I will be complete again.
And we've found that during some of our negative days that the time went so slow we decided that no matter what is happening that we would always find positive in those days and it really helps. I've talked to my husband for only three minutes in the past 14 days and it broke my heart yet the days just flew by.....im sad yet I know he's ok and that he's not in trouble. So I'm staying positive.

Hey Nygirl! I was just thinking the other day how Time really is going fast and even more for me because my man just got his time adjusted. Now he'll be released July 2018 instead of August, a whole month earlier! He's taking classes which helps reduce his time whenever he passes so we are hoping he comes home as early as May 2018. I'm kinda freaking out tbh b/c we are looking to get married and I hope our paperwork gets processed and approved before he's released! Either way I'm proud of him for surviving this ordeal it's been the hardest thing we have faced, but the amazing thing is we've stuck things out together. I hope you and your man are doing well and here's hoping time keeps flying for all of us ladies and our men! We are on the homestretch gals, hang in there!

Yay that's awesome. So happy you'll be seeing him soon. It will be three weeks since I've seen my husband on Sunday. Hoping he's moved and I can see him on the 5th. Fingers crossed.
