Default Anyone have a loved one coming home 2018?? Let's talk :)

We can get excited to!!!! We might only be three months into 2017 but it's going fast. Unfortunately my husband doesn't come home until October 2018 but we are over half way now. When does your loved one come home? What do you do to get the time to pass faster? Let's talk!!!

Ugh I feel your pain girl. I dont know how you can be so strong or anyone for that matter who is with a long timer. But you will find lots of support here. I'll be on in here for already the remainder of my husband's sentence.

I am getting my Uncle back by the New Year I hope. He's actually been paroled for 6yrs but his PO has always denied his housing approval. So the chicks in this fam got together and decided we are gonna use her own laws to our advantage. We've researched constantly, everything from State Legislature bylaws to our local PO office Employee Manual (Freedom of Info Act Is is an awesome thing), to forums like this. Knowledge really is power. Cause we are gonna be pretty powerful when the PO starts trying to deny. If we do it all by the book precisely..there isn't any wiggle room. I hope your doing ok in your journey too..it is an experience that you can never imagine how mindbending it can be. It all goes in circles. We can only hope that at some point we get thrown off finally and they focus on other things.

I'm using a countdown tracker, writing letters, stuff like that, buying a few little things here & there so the budget won't be hit too much, doing what I can to help with the parole plan, praying he gets parole and planning for the possibility of a flop, so I'm not mentally off track if he is flopped.

I have a ticker to as you can see. I already have two totes almost full of stuff for him when he comes home. Clothes cologne shoes shower stuff etc. Even things he's seen in tv that he's asked for and I bought them. I don't see any reason why my husband would get a flop because he's been on his best behavior but if he does I would be devastated.

Coming home with me he's never been to Disney and I plan on taking him there when we get back in Florida. I started planning his coming home once I knew the date he was coming home. I'm ready for him to be home.

I'm not sure if your honey is in a Federal Prison or not but if he is, try Google search for BOP Inmate Search. It should tell you what date he will be getting released.

It's worth a try.

If he is in a state prison, do a Google search for "NAME OF STATE" inmate search. Click on the link and enter his info. You should be able to view his out date there.

Good Luck

My husband had his interview 10/23/2017, his PED Date was 01/29/18. I just read online 12/22/17, he was denied his first parole review and will not get another PED until 12/2/018. Is it possible they will shorten this time

I'm not sure but I hope someone can help you. Maybe a moderator can move this to the Taxas forum where your more then likely able to Get an answer.
