Default L.O. not getting meds at Cook County

My loved one has been moved from Div 6 to Div 2; and has not been recieving all of his medications since the move. Would someone know the phone # I could call at Cook County, i.e. perhaps his social worker for div. 2 (for which I dont have the number). I've called the customer service there to find the numbers but to no surprise no one answers. Thanks in advance.

773-674-7100 is listed online. Over 7000 inmates! I hope you can reach someone!

Thanks, Cook Co has a million phone numbers and unfortunately with most of them you get voice mail or the phone just rings. My L.O. hasnt recieved this very necessary pain medicine for 3 days now, something he should never miss a dose of even for one day. I'm geting sick myself over this.

Default calls

Try calling early in the morning, late in the evening, 0800 am different times. They must have a phone number for people to call.

Did you try customer service? 773-674-1945 8 am -830 pm 7 days per week.

Inmate services 773-674-1979

Hope this helps!

Thanks so much, I called many of the numbers and it seems like the inmate services number did the trick. And I did just that call at different times and often. Finally today he got his necessary meds after being off them 4 days, which is still unnacceptable on their part. Still, I'm thankful and pray they dont mess up again!

This is getting absolutely frustrating! He's been in there since January and has got his meds every day with no problem. Then recently when they moved him to different Divisions they've screwed up and missed an extremely important medication he needs to take for a rhumatological condition, a med he's been on 3 years. This is going on 7 days now with no medication. I've talked to the people at the Cermak medical there and now I get answers like " his condition is being addressed properly" which really is no answer. In the meantime he's in terrible pain and I dont know who to turn to. Do I have to initiate a lawsuit. This is so ridiculous and uncalled for!

Finally after two weeks off of the meds (their fault) and what seemed like a thousand calls they resumed the medication, I hope it will not be interrupted once more. Cook County jail is one of the worst county jails in the country; normally overpopulted (save for now because of covid releases), understaffed and is an all around hell hole for anyone stuck in there....and hell for their families as well.
