Default Books and tablets

Can anyone tell me how many books guys can get at SQ? There's a Texas bookstore that sends a bunch of books by different authors. And has anyone sent a tablet yet? I've tried to find out what is on it but haven't gotten far. I did see it's expensive to buy books and stuff to add to it. I just wondered whats preloaded on it.

Is your loved one in reception or mainlined ?
Reception inmates cant get much.
I forget now but i could only send stamps, envelopes, paper.
I think we have info in the sq forum about what you can and cant send and who the approved vendors are. Double check that before ordering anything.

Yes. I mean you can get a large envelope (remove the metal tab)
And fill it with paper (again, cant remember how many sheets) blank envelopes, a book of stamps.
You used to be able to send pens too, but have to be clear and nothing fancy. (think the old style BIC pens) in black or blue ink. Only two at a time.

I wouldnt send a tablet of paper. Only because they may reject it. I always just sent the loose sheets like you use it school. (blue lined)

You could also send envelopes from the postal service with postage already on them
I'd also write on the outside of the letter you mail, what is included in there.
(50 sheets of paper, two pens, one book of forever stamps etc....)
Double check the Chino forums

Sheets of paper-- this is a funny one, when I first started it stated no more than 50 sheets at a time. That was reasonable. Recent indigent envelopes say 300 sheets at a time. Two problems with that: who can get 300 in a manila envelope and get it there in one piece without tape (no tape allowed!). Also, each envelope has a weight limit. Pretty sure 300 sheets would be pushing it.

I usually make stationary packs of 20 sheets of paper, 5 plain envelopes, 2 manila envelopes (folded in half) and one sheet of stamps. Like sidewalker suggests, I list the contents on the outside. Costs me about $3 to mail and it's sailed through the mail room at two different facilities.
