Question about securus debit

Wife is in Perryville and was just approved for phone calls. I got a call from her last night but it was a free call provided by the prison. She gets 2 free calls per week. I put $100 in her Securus debit account but its not available to her. Does anyone know why? In yavapai county the Securus debit account was used to fund phone calls. Is it different in Perryville? I can't get ahold of anyone in customer service, I suspect because of covid

Perryville is an option when you try to fund an inmate debit account online. They might just be experiencing a little delay. Hopefully you connect with someone from customer service soon.

She will have to be given the info from the prison and establish a PIN to use the phone. Some places require the inmate to record their name as well. The prison may not be in any rush to get this done. Give it a few days and hopefully you'll hear from her.

Same thing happened with us. I thought securus inmate debit would go to his tablet but I was wrong. We dont know where the money went because he checked every possible option and nothing. It was only $10 so i never tried to dispute it.

I only ever use IC Solutions to fund the phone account and have never had issues with it. And use Jpay to send money for commissary and tablet

For phone call in AZ prisons you need to go thru ICSolutions.
icsolutions.com This puts money on an account that they can use to call only you as long as you have funds on the account the calls will go thru and they are 15 minute calls. But they can call you right back and talk in those 15 minute increments for as long as they are aloud on the phone, its about $3.38 for each 15 minute call so you can go thru alot of money pretty quick if you don't have a plan. If you put money on the Securus Inmate Debit Acctount I believe it goes on an account that they can use to call anyone..I don't know how they get access to that account. You could call Securus to check on it but be prepared to be on hold a LONG time. I am still tryingto get video visits set up thru them with no luck. My LO gets one free video visit per week but we wanted the pay visits incase anything came up that we may need to disuss right away since is he coming home God Willing March 29th! It's been almost 3 yrs and A LOT of money...so just set some ground rules when it comes to calls, food boxes, ordering frm the commissary and tablet money...it adds up FAST.
