Default Do you have a pet as your friend?

Let's talk about pets that are close to your heart, tell us something about your pet. How do you take good care of them, how do you train them? What good memories do you have with your pet?

I have two cats and a turtle..

Pepper and Princess. My little felines get groomed and pampered often. They are my babies.. They play on the front porch while I work. Those two are spoiled rotten.

My turtle gets a scrub bath once a week while I change his tank. His name is Dodge..

There is a ~25 year old cat in the home I occupy that has graciously allowed me to live with him. I thank him daily for allowing me to do so...he gets spoiled for the efforts

Our rescue dog was old when we adopted him. We had him as a member of our family for nearly 10 years. He was our family. He meshed well with us and our household. He was so spoiled and so loved and he knew it. He was very grateful that we rescued him and we could tell he loved us tremendously. He passed away in February of this year. It is still hard on us. I don't know if we are ready to bring in another dog. We are still hurting from his absence. But he was our family and we loved him.
