She got accepted into a Christian halfway house again but a different one so is coming to the state where my husband and I live to start over. She gets out in 4 weeks and it feels like forever but I know I should be grateful.
Sorry just venting lol It has been quite a ride these last 4 yrs but my husband and I always stayed by her side despite the distance. I still wait by my phone in case she calls every day. I can't wait to see her and hug her.

Thanks for the update I hope her transition to freedom will go smoothly and she'll be able to turn her life around. Keeping you all in my thoughts...wishing you well! Keep us posted!
I'm so sorry for your loss. I know right now nothing will help you except time. I lost my husband a few years ago to cancer but basically if it weren't for drugs he would have been able to get treatment.
That's such a rollercoaster to have to ride - from the joy of her release and the promise of a new, better life to the blackness of her death. Really hard to comprehend.
I'm sorry for your sister, but even more so for you - many hugs, gentle embracing hugs until you find your peace.
