My husband is in process of being transferred to a new prison, this is one possibility and I have some questions... if you can help that would be great! If you go in early, do you get to stay all day or are there terminations? What are the SNY level 4 yards? Is there a patio and do you get to come and go on the patio or do you have to wait for the officers to open it? Now, about the visiting rooms themselves, do they trip on holding hands or your knees touching? Any answers will be welcome... Thank you!!

Okay you have a lot of questions I will do my best to answer them. As far as what yards are what levels I don't really know I thinks its C yard that yard has ag sag so I would think but I don't know. I know that its not suppose to be a level 2 prison but there's a lot of SO's that are level 2 and there's a lot of EOP that are a level 2. That's why its hard for me to say. On visiting you can get terminated. It mostly depends on how many people and what yard you are on. A yard has more terminations. If its a 3day and/or a busy weekend your chances of being terminated goes up. There are patios. Yes, the CO's have to tell you were to sit and they get to pick if it gets opens. You can also just walk outside and sit inside. Not all inmates get to go outside.

Oh touching is a hard one. Rule says no leg touching or any body just holding hands. I know some CO's are stricter then other's. Plus you also have the cameras watching you and they will call the CO. I see some get away with it but others have lost their visit. I just follow the rules.

Level 4 is A yard the entire prison is SNY. I have heard A yard gets away with more at visiting like cuddling holding each other during the visit etc. I don't know though because I am on B yard visiting. I have also been told there are more terminations on A yard however I really don't think lately its been a problem. Last weekend even on B yard there was a few terminations (I was one of them) just due to over crowding however in the past 2 years of visiting every Sat & Sun there we have only been terminated maybe a total of 3 times. There is chairs lined up on the walls they let you sit at before terminating you. The patio is open all day to all Non Closed A inmates also tables and chairs you can sit outside if you ask the visiting room CO to sit out there when they are seating you. They are ok with you sitting right next to each other, holding hands legs touching but no groping or cuddling or excessive touching.

A yard use to get alot of terminations but a large number of guys from there transferred to C yard. Mule Creek in general is pretty laid back compared to other places but if you get to touchy they will say something to you.. I go every weekend, both days and never terminated on C yard. I usually got around 1030am and stay until closing.

The visiting thread was closed. So hoping posting here is ok. I have a friend at MCSP I wanted to visit. I live so far away, since we are just friends no family visits. Can you visit both Saterday and Sunday then? If so I could stay up there through the weekend. Thanks for any info in advanced hope everyone's having a good day.

Thank you. I appreciate it. So it's a 6 hour visit ? That's awesome! Makes the 1000 mile roundtrip even better

I doubt they fix teeth, I'm under the impression that they will pull it.

Hey all. Thank you in advance to all who are willing to ask and answer questions! I have learned and guided myself through many situations by way of reading these blogs. My boo just moved to MCSP. He's moved once before and I read that he was going to go through an orientation process, but that didn't really happen. I was able to talk and see him right away. At MCSP, he's been there for two weeks come Tuesday. Is that length of time before going to committee normal? Hoe long does it usually take to get through committee? Hes.really low level security. Thank you!

Good afternoon ladies and gents. My love just landed at MC yesterday I am wondering if anyone can tell me about the EOP program options and where you think the best place is to stay when you visit. Thank you for any insight and help.

Does anyone know the address where to send the visitation application to?
All I could find was the P.O. Box address. Is that enough or do I have to write down a special name or destination besides MCSP? Thanks.

Hello, does anyone know if this prison has a Facebook support group? Also, if a loved one is transferred how long until he can receive visits? Thank you.

Hi my husband is being transferred to Mule Creek in a few days. I've read that they go thru orientation for about two weeks when they get there. Are they allowed to use the phones and get their quarterly package during this orientation period?
