This information is very encouraging... That's for the post.. I know that sweetie don't just neglect to write so I'm sure he ran out of supplies it just rips my heart out.. I know they have canceled visits this weekend but I'd he can at least call or email I will be so happy.. I am so ready for him to be home we are down to 2 years and 4 months and it can't get here soon enough.

When I write letters ...I always leave the bottom half blank...that way he can rip it in half...keep the part I wrote and write back on the blank part. He always has stamps and he makes his envelopes if he needs. I have been getting about three letters a day from him and I send him five a day. I also have gotten the pretty stationary and send an extra sheet and they give it to him.

I don't know if its just me or not but I have a harder time and miss my baby more on the weekends when I know I won't hear from him then I do during the week. I have never had to go this long without a phone call before. Not even during transfer. This is killing me. it ain't helping knowing I was suppose to be there visiting this weekend either. I am still writing him daily and trying to stay strong but days like today it's hard. I sure hope they let them come off in the next couple of days. He told me in one of his letters that they at least cut the TV's back on and when I called Thursday they said they may be up first of the week so I'm praying they are right. I know we ALL miss our loves. Let's keep each other strong ladies

In some cases if lock downs go on too long they might be allowed to buy a few basic items from commissary; items like somebody in SHU might get. Writing supplies, hygiene items, OTC medical things, but that's about it. The items are delivered to their cells.

I suggest you order books, send word search, cross words - anything to give them something to do. Even non readers have changed their outlook about books during long lock downs.
