SFF isn't on lockdown the desk guard said and visitation is still going on tomorrow so I will be at SFF tomorrow,sat,sunday.. I usually visit for all 3 days..

USP he said is on lockdown.. Something about a stabbing, and I did get a call from her and emails now. And she said she heard about the lockdown too

Hello all, I am new to this forum, My fiance is currently on a writ and in transit back to Hazelton, he should arrive midday tomorrow(he was there before the writ for). Is the institution currently on a lockdown state, and if so do any of you know for how long?

Welcome to PTO
Yes as of right now the USP is on lockdown today is day 11. I personally don't know how much longer they will be on but I'm praying it ends very very soon.

I have not had a letter in two days which is highly unusual for him and we have been doing this for 4 years so it worries me to death but I'm going to assume that maybe he is out of envelopes or stamps or something... I am hating this so bad

I know the feeling girl. Mine just got there so his property hasn't caught up yet and he didn't have a chance to go to com so I don't know if he has stamps or not. I haven't gotten anything since Friday its freaking killing me.

I am overwhelmed withe emotions. My Fiance just got back to Hazelton on Monday and I have yet to hear that voice that brings peace and eases my worries. I hate bureaucracies; there is no logical justification as to why they are still on lockdown. I'm just upset that he will not be able to respond to my letters due to the fact he won't be able to make purchases. I know that inmates have limited rights but this is truly "cruel and unusual" punishment. The irony of it all is that BOP mission is to, "keep families connected with inmates" smh..... Nonetheless nothing last forever we will all be in communication with our loved ones soon enough (positive energy). Stay Strong ladies

I sent the executive office an Email Sunday evening and to my surprise they responded Monday morning. Rachel Thompson sited, " I anticipate normal operations to resume the latter part of the week". I assumed later in the week ment Thursday or Friday. When I called I had my phone on speaker and mute and waited while I ran errands. About seven minutes passed and a gentleman answered he very much informative....... Maybe some of you have not received a letter due to lack of envelops or stamps. Even on lock down they can not deprive inmates from sending mail.........This too shall pass.
