Thumbs up Did you know ex-inmates can vote in Oregon?

Hello all,

did you know that once released from prison that our loved ones can vote?! We are one of a few states that allow our "ex" inmates to vote. I think this is great!

By the way, double check right now to make sure you can vote in this up coming polls. It is really important that we make sure that Mannix's measure does not pass!!! Check now because I think that it has to be received before April 26th in order for you to vote this November.

Dawn

I think April 26th is the deadline to vote in the primary. The deadline to vote in November is probably sometime in October. But good to register NOW to vote, as you said, so it doesn't slip anyone's mind til too late.

Also, those who are incarcerated PRE-TRIAL, not sentenced, are also able to vote. They need to register to vote and then request an absentee ballot in advance of the election (there's a deadline for that too - the Elections office in your county could tell you the deadlines. Z.
